An accounting and finance professional with a diverse career spanning banking, non-profit, and public sector financial management. A proud alumnus of our great Ibadan City Academy (Class of 1991). After “City” I went on to earn a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Lagos and right after, began my professional career as a banker with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) in Nigeria leveraging on experience gained from college industrial attachment with now defunct Commercial Bank Credit Lyonnais.
Seeking further academic, I relocated to the United States as a Student, where I completed an MBA at Strayer University in Washington, DC and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Due to banking merger in Nigeria right after graduation, I stayed back in USA and went on to work as an Accountant for large non-profit organizations in Washington, DC, gaining extensive experience in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Now based in Edmonton, Canada, still working as a CPA with the Government.
Beyond professional life, I am a devoted father of four beautiful children. In my spare time, I enjoy non fiction reading, playing chess, and tennis.
